Hillcrest Christian offers students several opportunities to pursue their interests and talents, 培养领导能力, and make lifelong friendships through participation in the following clubs and organizations.
国家荣誉协会(NHS)
The National Honor Society is the leader among educational organizations that promote recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, 领导, 服务, 和性格.
As a member of the Hillcrest Chapter of the National Honor Society, students are expected to dedicate themselves to servant 领导 in their school and community. Serving lunch at the Ventura County Rescue Mission, Packing care boxes with Children’s Hunger Fund, and donating time to tutor fellow students are just some of the ways these students share the love of Christ with others!

戏剧俱乐部
希尔克雷斯特基督教戏剧俱乐部, officially chartered with the school in 2017, was founded to offer an opportunity for students to experience the business side of running a musical theater production. At the beginning of the year, officers are elected who will serve throughout the year. 官员包括总裁, 副总统, 秘书, Treasurer and the Historian who is in charge of preserving items from each show. 演员们的团结, set design crew and tech crew is very important and the 戏剧俱乐部 allows the different elements of a show to work together for the good of the production. 另外, the goal of the Club is to expand interest in the program within the school population, and to explore ways to use our talents in 服务 to the community by offering free performances for charity groups and churches.
ASB
The Associated Student Body is first and foremost an opportunity for students to 培养领导能力 and apply them in various ways while representing the interests and goals of the student body. The election of officers is held in the spring, and it is the goal that through the election process, students will see democracy in action. In order to be considered for an office, students must secure the recommendation of a teacher, file a form stating their reasons for running and give a speech at the ASB Convention. Each member of ASB must maintain high academic standards and represent the student body with honor.
军官, members and the ASB Advisor meet weekly with the purpose of planning and executing activities that not only unify the school, but offer fun and meaningful events throughout the year. The Junior High counterpart to ASB is Junior High Leadership. Similar in description to ASB, JH Leadership focuses on raising funds for charitable causes. The Faculty at Hillcrest has a heart and a desire to walk alongside each individual student as they navigate life during their jr. 高中和高中时期. 成立一年后, HCS received an Exemplary Program Award from ACSI for its Family Groups chapel program. Family Groups allow students to experience and practice community and help them reach beyond their peer group to connect with others within the Hillcrest family.
